They managed only 120 runs for the loss of six wickets in their full 20 overs. The innings was a story of small contributions, with Dev Khanal top-scoring with 35 runs and Alpesh Ramjani adding an unbeaten 33.

Adam Rossington played the role of the aggressor, smashing a match-winning half-century. His 65 runs came off just 48 balls and included five massive sixes and four boundaries, effectively dismantling the Rhinos’ bowling plans.
At the other end, the young Arjun Kumal, playing his first match of the tournament, played a mature, anchoring role. He remained unbeaten on 43 runs off 53 balls, ensuring stability and guiding the team home. The Avengers comfortably reached the target in 19.4 overs, losing only two wickets in the process.

Speaking to the media after the win, Pokhara Avengers captain Kushal Bhurtel expressed satisfaction with the team’s final performance.
Bhurtel stated. “Even though we couldn’t make the playoffs, we are happy to end the tournament on a high note, We have shown improved performance compared to last year. Overall, the tournament was a success for us, especially gaining experience with foreign players and playing under floodlights for the first time.”
In stark contrast, Chitwan Rhinos captain Kushal Malla offered a candid and critical assessment of his team’s campaign, which saw them exit the tournament early.
Malla admitted. “Our team’s equation was not right this season, We suffered losses because when the batting clicked, the bowling failed, and when the bowling was good, the batting didn’t perform.”
